Organisation

The organisation's own details: its name, its Tenant ID, and the currency and time zone that everything else inherits.

Open it at Settings → Administration → Organisation. This page is for the owner. Anyone else who reaches it sees "Only the owner can view the organisation details."

The "Organisation" card

Name
The organisation's display name. It appears in the dashboard greeting, on the sign-in screen once a device is bound, in the account menu's organisation picker, and as the default label at the top of every receipt unless receipt branding overrides it. Save is disabled below 2 characters.
Tenant ID
Read-only. The short code (letters and digits) staff type once per device for PIN sign-in. It is assigned when the organisation is created, from the first characters of the name, and can only be changed by Greyield Labs support. If it ever changes, devices re-enter it through Change Tenant on the sign-in screen.

The "Locale" card

The subtitle says it: these are "the defaults every location and person inherits unless they set their own."

Currency
A searchable list of the ISO currencies, each labelled with its code and name and a hint saying whether it uses whole units or 2 decimal places. A currency with no minor unit is treated as whole units, so 1,200 means exactly 1,200. The field hint explains the important part: the currency is snapshotted onto every receipt as it is issued, so past documents never change when you change this.
Time Zone
The business day: what a daily sales figure covers, and the zone people and locations use unless they choose their own. The caption underneath shows the current time in that zone.

When a currency change is refused

The "PIN sign-in" card

An explanation for the owner: staff type the Tenant ID once per device, after which they sign in with just their PIN, and a changed code means each device re-enters it via Change Tenant. See Signing in.

Saving

Save Changes shows an "Organisation saved" toast and refreshes your session so money and dates are formatted with the new settings straight away.
