Profile
Your own details: your name, the time zone you read dates in, and a read-only view of the roles you hold. How you sign in — Face ID and fingerprint on your devices — has its own page, Security, next to this one.
Open it at Settings → My Settings → Profile. Everyone can open their profile; no permission is involved because you are only editing yourself.
The "You" card
- First Name, Last Name
- Both editable and both required. Save Changes stays disabled until something has changed and neither name is empty.
- Read-only. Shows — (PIN-only) if you sign in with a PIN and have no email. Email is your sign-in identity and cannot be changed here; an administrator can add one to a PIN-only account under Users.
- Organisation
- The organisation this session belongs to. If you belong to several, switch with Switch Organisation in the account menu.
- Email Verified
- The date your address was verified, or Not Verified. Verification emails are not sent in the current release, so this reads Not Verified for everyone. Nothing depends on it.
- Last Sign-In
- Shown once you have signed in at least once.
The "Time Zone" card
Every date and time in the app is shown in this zone: receipt times, "last adjusted" stamps, report bounds and the daily buckets in the Daily Sales Summary. Nothing stored changes when you switch it. Every timestamp is kept in UTC and only displayed in your zone.
- The picker is a searchable list of 400 or so zones. Search by city, region or UTC offset.
- The first row is Organisation Default — City (UTC±hh:mm). Choosing it means you follow the organisation's zone, including if the owner ever changes it.
- Below the picker the screen tells you what zone it is showing and what time it is there right now, so you can sanity-check the choice.
The "Roles" card
Read-only. It lists the roles you hold. Permissions are not shown on Profile: they come from your roles, and what each role allows is set under Roles. The owner sees "Not applicable — the owner has every permission automatically" instead of a list, the same wording as on their page under Users, because roles do not apply to the owner. To understand what each key allows, see the Permissions reference.
Saving
Press Save Changes. A "Profile saved" toast confirms it. If saving fails you see "Could not save your profile." or the server's own message.
