Appearance

Choose whether the app follows your device's light or dark setting, or forces one.

Open it at Settings → My Settings → Appearance.

What is on the page

• A Color Mode card with three buttons: System, Light and Dark. To confirm who is signed in on a shared device, open Profile.

How the choice behaves

• System is the default. The app switches with the operating system's light or dark mode.
• The choice is stored on this device, not on your account, and is applied before the first screen draws so nothing flashes. Signing out does not reset it; another person signing in on the same device inherits it.
• Printed receipts are unaffected. Paper receipts always print on white; thermal receipts have no colour at all.
